Regardless of being at home all the time, I have duties and responsibilities for my family. Being quarantined for a couple weeks is no fun for sure. I know it ain’t easy when people panic, scared, anxious and has the feeling of uncertainty. Can’t blame you, we are in this together! COVID-19 pandemic affect us in many levels. I, personally have all of these feelings. My parents were supposed to travel back home the 23rd of March and received an email from the airline, their flights were canceled for no entry restriction in Taiwan where they had connecting flight to the final destination. It was heartbreaking knowing they have been wanting to go home since December. I’ve had them stay until their original flight date. Would I blame myself? No, because I wanted to build more time with them and take note they are 70’s and 60’s they are more vulnerable to travel half way around the world. It is better off for them to extend their stay than letting them go amidst of this pandemic. Philippines is currently on community quarantine. Stock up on supplies can be very difficult for most of us (more information – google Philippines news). During these uncertain times I have to dwell more on the positive side. Kick out bad vibes, focus on creating stay at home memories with my children, my better half & parents, take care of yourself i.e plenty of sleep – eat healthy – exercise regularly, stay away from the news and social media, and start a new hobby. After all, knowing that 7 of us are all safe and hope you guys are doing the same. Remember, you’re not stuck at home, you’re safe at home!

I spiced up my look to elevate my mood from more duties and responsibilities at home as a wife, mother and daughter. Plus being a teacher to my distance learning students. It can be more challenging after I went through some health issues these past few months. It has been two weeks from my surgery and it became so overwhelming! This look was for a trip to the grocery store and order take-out burgers. It may look crazy as I look but it makes me feel so good. Stretched my hair out, incorporate some old and new pieces from my wardrobe, add a lipstick on, wear a pair of wedge sandals, take out my favorite bag and viola, those instantaneous trips are solved. How do you manage your time being quarantined or isolated? Share some of your thoughts on the comments below. Would love to hear all your feedbacks, tips, and advice on making this kinda “buang” (crazy) Momma some more lighter vibes. (Currently wearing bright colors)! Friends, again stay at home and be grateful for we are safe. My heart goes out to people who got impacted.

This flowy asymmetrical top is stunning. It can be worn multiple ways. Paired with oldie leather jacket and denim shorts. The shorts is my favorite, it has side zip detailing.

Be safe and thank you for reading.
